Alyssa Herriot, Kindergarten Teacher at Bayles Elementary is this month’s SEL Guiding Principles Resilience Superstar. Ms. Herriot started her career teaching fourth grade. She now teaches kindergarten students at Bayles Elementary. Making the shift from teaching Fourth grade to Kindergarten can be challenging but her great attitude and love for children helped her overcome the challenges that often accompany the changes in shifting grade levels.
Herriot will now tell you that she thinks she has found her niche. And, by the looks of her inviting classroom – one would never know all that she has had to overcome. Our district and the families of Bayles community are proud to have you shaping the lives of our future graduates. Way to go Ms. Herriot!
