Difficult emotions can be as contagious as the coronavirus — and just as hard to contain. That’s where social and emotional learning comes in. “Education is not just reading, writing and arithmetic,” says Byron Sanders, president and CEO of Big Thought. “It’s also about learning about yourself, learning about your identity, learning to express yourself.”
