While campuses throughout the area are closing for the remainder of the academic year, staff at Lorenzo DeZavala Elementary wanted to create an opportunity to how their students and families how much they are missed. Staff hosted a parade where they waved posters and sang chants as they walked the block around DeZavala. Families and students created their own posters and brought balloons to celebrate and cheer on their teachers.
