Sometimes things happen in life that are too hard for us to overcome on our own. When hard things happen, friends can help. They can do this by writing a card, helping us up, giving us a hug, or simply just sitting beside us. Friends come in all shapes and sizes, but they all make us stronger and remind us that we are not alone. A true friend is someone that cares about us, treats us with kindness, and accepts us for who we are. Friendship is important.
But in order to have good friends, we must be good friends. We have to show care and kindness to those around us. Making friends can take some time, and it starts with getting to know others. Take some time this week to help out some of your friends that need it. Find creative ways to show them you care and remind them that they are not alone!
